The Great Repeal Bill consists of three main features:

Repeal of the European Communities Act, the piece of legislation that took Britain into the European Union, which will end the supremacy of EU law.

Converting European law to domestic UK law, meaning all laws and regulations made while the UK was a member of the European Union will continue to exist once Britain leaves the European Union.

New powers for Ministers to ‘correct’ converted EU law through secondary legislation.
